I walked the loop with Flo, cutting across Trafalgar Square into St James Park: For routine: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
Truly the Park on this day was most beautiful. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
I saw the Pelicans once more, they have not been around for a while. I find them to be interesting, fearsome, mysterious. For wonder: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
I have a place in the Park, by the silver birch trees which border the lake where I like to sit. The Vista from this spot is ever changing, yet constant. Always full of movement. For liveliness: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
I caught up with my friend in Totnes by phone. She told me that from where she was standing Swallows were flying overhead. For connection: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
This walk was full of the Coronation in reverse. Workman were dismantling many structures, e.g The Stage. The Porta Loos have been taken down. There are lorries neatly stacked, taking things away. Last Saturday's huge scale event, lingered as a whisper in the air. For order: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
On the return journey, in Jermyn Street, the pocket, patch, pavement Florist came to speak with Flo and give her a biscuit. For friendliness: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
I admired the beauty of his stand. He had the most perfect peonies for sale. Swallows and peonies remind me of my childhood home. For memories: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
The Jermyn Street route takes me through the back of Leicester Square and back home almost to the door. For symmetry: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
During this walk, Heavy clouds loomed overhead. Just as I arrived back home, the very instant that I put a key into the door, there was a huge thunderclap and the rain poured down in sheets. For perfect timing: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
