Gratitude List 23/11/23
Flo and I walked to the Victoria Embankment Gardens. It was quite cold, but the day was clear. For clarity: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
The vanishing leaves meant that Cleopatra's needle was visible on the skyline. My friend told me that her parents became engaged (May their memory be a blessing) by Cleopatra's needle. Now when I sit close by with Flo I think of them and smile. For memories and for romance, Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
I am lapse in posting my Gratitude Practice, because my work has become busy. For this fact I have the deepest gratitude. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
Whilst I have been practicing gratitude everyday in my head, I am resolved to become more focused and more efficient. For productivity: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
There are some small routines that shape my day. These include kindnesses. For example the security man in the M & S @Charing Cross Road Station, will come outside and hold Flo, whilst I nip in and buy myself a sandwich. One day I did try to gain her full entry as 'a service dog', but my deception made me feel guilty, besides which she behaved very badly(so many smells) For honesty and perfect solutions; Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
Across Covent Garden Christmas decorations are either up or being put up. For light and for joyfulness: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
Yesterday I saw the matinee of King Lear @ Wyndhams Theatre. Totally sold out, the whole theatre was filled with awe. And rightly so as it was beyond magnificent. For artistry that will stay with me for ever: Thank You, Thank You.
Today I have a day within which there is space to write. This fact makes my soul feel as if it may hum. For the privilege of time within which to be creative: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
Yesterday I made chicken soup. For leftovers: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
For the prospect of the day ahead, within which, magic will, I know be woven, even in the small routines of the moment, which are indeed precious to me.Thank You, Thank You.
