Friday Night Dinner in the oven, I took Flo for a quick walk. We slipped out into the rain without an umbrella. I enjoyed the busyness, and purposefulness of people hurrying along the street. Shiny pavements, light reflecting. I believe that Flo mostly enjoyed the smells. For evocation: Thank You; Thank You: Thank You.
Today I met a friend for a catch up. She gave me a challah. Because its Roshashona, The New Year it is round in shape, rather than plaited. This is to symbolise the completness of the year. For the Sweetness of friendship, for endings and new beginnings: Thank You: Thank You. Thank You

At this moment, just before dinner, the house smells divine. I like the 5 mins that comes between completing cooking and eating. The apartment does too. It seems to sigh. Thank You: Thank You. Thank You.

In South End Green I found a conker fallen in the road. It transported me back to my childhood. Of course I picked it up. I may plant it and see if I can grow a tree. For miracles and beauty, just sitting in the street. Thank You: Thank You. Thank You.
Walking around the block in just 5 mins I pass people in many different circumstances. For some people rain is not easy. For courage, resilience and repair: Thank You: Thank You. Thank You.
As I write, sitting next to me is a mug of tea. The tea is from India. Indeed I am blessed. Thank You: Thank You. Thank You.
