Gratitude List 20/12/22

1. This falafel stand is called The Beirut Kitchen. It may look like a gazebo but do not be fooled. In reality it is a mighty kitchen of resilience. Its owner was once a bank manager in Lebanon. Now he has an entirely different life. He tells me that people who buy from him are buying more than just falafel. For renewal, for courage. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.

2. For an authentic falafel for lunch. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.

3. I walked with Flo to St Giles. The man who feeds the pigeons comes earlier now. The pigeons know this and wait for him. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.

4. Flo feels that the pigeons are her's to chase. There is no animosity from the Pigeon man, he just grins. The pigeons wheel around and settle back down. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.

5. Clients came along today. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.

6. A kind gift arrived. The Boy, The Mole, The Fox and The Horse. A luminous book that has light shining through it. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.

7. An army of people work together keeping the street clean. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.

8. Last Thursday, I worked with a client in Watkins. Today he had a follow up session via zoom, from Frankfurt. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.

9. Cards arrived in the post. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
