Gratitude List 2/3/23

1. For the fact that whatever happens, and for whatever I face, the sky always brings me solace: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.

2. I visited my mother in order to fulfil a promise. The Angels were with me and I arrived on time. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.

3. For a visit to Aldeburgh. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.

4. For a walk by the sea, against a wide expanse of sky, with the sound of the yachts pinging: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.

5. At 83 my mother is as sharp as a button. She rails against the current government and is still hungry for life. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.

6. It takes just over two hours to drive to my mothers house. The contrast between here and there, is indeed great. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.

7. Because of our long estrangement which lasted around 15 years, we are very careful and polite towards one another and maintain peace. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.

8. For peace. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.

9. I made a decision in which I put my self first. This meant that I laid down a burden. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.

10. For complexity, drama and for love. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
