Angels are implicit in my gratitude lists because gratitude is a portal, where we can connect.

Gratitude List Wednesday 3/5/23 (retrospective)

1. Flo and I walked the loop from St Martins Lane, through Trafalgar Square, St James Park and back via Piccadilly.

2. This was an interesting walk. Of course I wanted to see the preparations for the Coronation on Saturday. On the one hand it was beginning to get busy, and roads were closed. On the other hand it was business as usual. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.

3. In the Park, several families of Geese were walking regally with their newly hatched goslings. The elderly couple in the photo above, holding hands, bought a lump to my throat. For poignancy: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.

4. By the Palace, tents are erected by people camping out in advance. These campers are festooned in union jacks. For the moment as experts in the subject of devotion to the monarchy, they are in demand from overseas TV crews and giving interviews. For irony and for amusement: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.

5. I am not sure about the tents. They bring to mind the tents erected each night outside Heals and across London by homeless people. For shelter and for homes: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.

6. Coronations, unlike (in the last year) the appointment of prime ministers, are rare events. In an effort to catch the energy there are opportunities to buy. Union Jacks. Cups and Saucers. Red Roses. Honey. Matches. Many people, seem to be wearing cardboard crowns. For playfulness: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.

7. The Golden Angel outside Buckingham Palace steadies me when I pass by. Angels are implicit in my gratitude lists because gratitude is a portal, where we can connect with Angels. For angelic connection. Deepest Gratitude. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.

8. There was a lot of cheerfulness and laugher in my walk today. Thank You, Thank You, Thank you.

9. Cows parsley grows around the edges of the lake in St James Park. It propels me back throughout my childhood to the present. It is both down to earth and beautiful. For memories, for laciness and for my life to date. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.

10. For completing 10,000 steps by the end of the day. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
