At dusk the big wheel was lit up and turning softly......

Gratitude List 1/3/23

  1. First thing this morning, when I opened my eyes, I realised that with all of the excitement of going for dinner last night I had forgotten to feed Flo. Mortified and chiding myself, I gave her an early breakfast. For hearts that are big and have the capacity to forgive: Thank You, Thank you, Thank You.

  2. I had work to carry out by zoom this morning. For this fact I have more gratitude than I can convey. Thank You, Thank you, Thank You.

  3. I had to go along to the GP today to have my blood pressure checked. I held my breath: all in normal range: For good health: Thank You, Thank you, Thank You.

  4. I passed by Buddha on a Bicycle on my way back. It is in the process of winding down. But still it sparkles. For endurance and for endeavour: Thank You, Thank you, Thank You.

  5. At dusk I went out hoping to see a small part of the Northern Lights. These eluded me but the darkening of the night gave me solace. For peace: Thank You, Thank you, Thank You.

  6. St James Park in the evening is different entirely to the morning. There was a distinct energy of purposefulness, people going home and the water birds flying to their roosts. For nighttime: Thank You, Thank you, Thank You.

  7. At dusk the big wheel was lit up and turning softly. A year ago, during lockdown it was unlit and unmoving. For Joy and for renewal: Thank You, Thank you, Thank You.

  8. I made stock using saffron. Did you know that saffron can help a soul stay in the body? How truly wonderful. It most likely has other qualities (which I am yet to look up!) Thank You, Thank you, Thank You.

  9. For leek and potato soup: Thank You, Thank you, Thank You.

  10. Josh arrived home with exciting news: For expansion and the capacity to bring gifts to the world. Thank You, Thank you, Thank You.
