Gratitude List 5/3/23
For Breakfast with a friend that included honey, as well as kind company; Thank you, Thank You, Thank You.
I walked to Lincoln's Inn Fields, sat on my usual bench and called my mum. We chatted until it was too cold to hold the phone. My mum told me off for not wearing gloves. I am 62 years old, yet for that moment became 12!! For laughter: Thank you, Thank You, Thank You.
A friendship which I thought was irredeemable, was rekindled. Now there is a surprise. Thank you, Thank You, Thank You.
Feeling the need for more space, I escaped to Brunswick Square. For the space to process and think things through: Thank you, Thank You, Thank You.
I looked around Waitrose. For a bunch of white hyacinths: Thank you, Thank You, Thank You.
It was nice to have my friend back and chat to him throughout the day. Thank you, Thank You, Thank You.
Again I walked 10,000 steps. Triumph! Thank you, Thank You, Thank You.
For warmth against the cold: Thank you, Thank You, Thank You.
For a book to read: Thank you, Thank You, Thank You.
For the chance to understand and to start again: Thank you, Thank You, Thank You.
