Gratitude List 3/2/23
The car needed a repair. This took me back to the old haunt of Brockley - where I stayed when I first came to London. For repair. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
Once upon a time, in order to attend to Watkins, I travelled on the 172 bus for two hours every day. In truth I quite liked these journeys. For recollection: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
The car was repaired within budget and now has a clean bill of health. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
Going back reminded me of where I am now. For a sense of place. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
It is not that often that I am close to a supermarket with a car. I could not (although I should have) resist Lidl. For temptation: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
In this Lidl, near to the Elephant and Castle, I found that it was possible to buy a rugby ball (should I happen to need one) within the same aisle as a huge jar of olives. For a moment I considered picking the rugby ball, but in the end I chose the olives. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
Now I have the task of working out how to bestow the huge jar of olives. With so much to be thankful for, I am planning A Party. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
After the adventure of taking in the car, there is the sanctity of work. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
For the space and freedom within which to work: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
For life, for progression and for change. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
