For Actors whom have the voices of angels: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.

Gratitude List 14/3/23

  1. At 10am, day tickets were released for Oklahoma! I secured a very good seat @ a very good price. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.

  2. The prospect of being able to go along, and looking forward to the show lifted the day: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.

  3. The Patterdale whose name is Flo was sweet today. Her constancy and patience is an enormous gift and enhances my life. Yet for all of her virtues, she does not get up to greet me when I return home. If there is food on the table she arrives at my side. This independence of spirit amuses me. I think to myself "Well Why would she?!". For Flo: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.

  4. The kindnesses which I received yesterday, and my work which was positive, spilled over into the day and I felt buoyed. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.

  5. Sitting on my usual bench in Lincoln's Inn Fields, I conducted business on my phone, including emails and taking photos. And catching up with my mum, who told me that she had seen Oklahoma! at The Hackney Empire when she was a child. For fluidity and for ease. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.

  6. During the day, I took the 24 bus to shop at the top of Tottenham Court Road. For transport and for freedom: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.

  7. At 7.15pm I left the house for the 7.30 show at Wyndham's Theatre. I wandered around the corner and joined the queue. Just getting there, even before the show began felt surreal and other worldly. For joyfulness: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.

  8. I utterly loved the production. It was a modern remake. Everything was stripped bare, at the end. I felt that I understood more about the nature of America, of humans, of love. For talent and insight: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.

  9. The singing in this show was out of the world. For Actors whom have the voices of angels: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.

  10. Theatre Management and audience logistics amuses me. I was quickly asked to remove the artistic tableau that I constructed for my photoshoot above!! The Usher was most concerned that the can of coke did not fall over the edge........For living dangerously, and for all being well: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
