Gratitude List 17/1/23
I noticed these boats on the beach in Suffolk on Sunday. In London bikes are to be found strewn on the pavements. I enjoy the sense of order and anticipation embodied by both means of transportation. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
Today I worked with clients. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
I walked into Soho to have my hair cut. The person who cuts my hair is skilled, kind, a talented hair dresser and psychic. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
Soho is awash with people, food, preparation for The Chinese New Year (of the Rabbit) and pockets of passion, talent. And much much more. I am not sure that I will ever understand all of its complexity, but Kate Atkinson's book Shrines of Vanity gave me a head start. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
A Devon friend came for lunch. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
Within the cold day it was good to cook hot food and to welcome friends for dinner. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
For a glass of Red Wine. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
For conversation and for laughter. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
For the sweetness of the day. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
For love. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
