Gratitude List 24/9/23

1. Zach celebrates his 24th today. For the presence of Zach in our lives and for the honour of being his mother. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.

2. I vividly remember the day of Zach's birth. He was born on the first day of Libra. In the room next door twins were born, one weighed 5.3lbs, the other 5.2lbs. Zach weighed the combined amount. He was 10.5lbs. For the fact that on so many levels Zach is amazing. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.

3. Although Zach is now living in Edinburgh, he had enough discipline to save his cards and presents to open them together via Whats Ap face time. He did not inherit restraint from me. I would not have been able to wait. For grace, for self discipline and for celebration. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.

4. The day was peaceful with time to work and time to read. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.

5. I tackled my admin. I used to find doing admin and accounts incredibly hard. Now it feels like a miracle, the fact that I can just sit down and do it. Easy Peasy! For learning self discipline, eventually. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.

6. My friend came for coffee. Early on Sunday morning, we discuss different topics. Today we were speaking of the Nature of Evil. Besides philosophical discussion, I am glad of, and value his company. For friendship: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.

7. For stillness: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.

8. Its the Eve of Yom Kippur, Kol Nidre. I put myself, and my year into self scrutiny. For redemption and forgiveness. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.

9. For the sweet weaving of The Day. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
