Gratitude List Tuesday 13th of June 2023
The new (better than ever) Kindred Spirit is out. Here it is shining across the shop floor in Watkins. For a magazine that helps to make The World a better place. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
Today was a day of working with clients, navigating the heat and writing. For a sense of purpose. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
I love writing in the late evening after a hot day. For creativity: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
Sometimes it feels as if Covent Garden is a wedding party full of guests. Lots of people out on the streets, meeting friends, having drinks. Eating Ice cream at midnight. I weave through everyone, with Flo in tow. For being able to move swiftly: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
My new bank card arrived. Somehow, (no idea how) I mistook it for the old one, and accidentally cut it up. This meant a confessional trip to the nearest branch of my bank, with my hand holding two cut up cards! For patience, when extremely exasperated (with self) Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
Flo and I took our usual meander, this time to the Gardens in Leicester Square. Due to the heat we keep to the shadows. Always Flo drags up enough energy to chase pigeons. For Summer in the City: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
From a bench I chatted with my mum. Deepest gratitude for these talks. When all is said and done she is on my side and supportive. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
The Angel Messages that I used to write for Kindred Spirit to send out weekly on Sundays will resume soon. This is a great honour for me that I do not take for granted: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
I completed the last Harry Potter Book! And took it back into the library on Charing Cross Road. I learn something useful from the exercise, which I hope will bring an improvement to my practice. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
For the entirety of the day, which contained magic therein. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
