Gratitude List 15/6/24
Unexpectedly a free day appeared. This meant I could walk the loop with Flo to St James Park, past the Ritz, and back home via Jermyn St and Leicester Square. The Trooping of the Colours meant that we could not cross the road to the Park, so we walked along the edge of The Mall to Green Park instead. For finding a way through: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
The rain clouds loomed overhead, and the crowds were gentle, enthusiastic and umbrellaed. Flo received accolades befitting her status for being a Patterdale Terrier and was kind enough to pose for photos. For engagement: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
Drama and pageantry orbit Buckingham Palace. And then there is the Queen Victoria Memorial, a Golden Angel. For Angels, Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
Alas, it rained on the Parade. But by that time we had moved on. When we reached Jermyn Street, The Heavens opened and it poured. For the fun of getting wet and shiny pavements: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
I am aware that is is a privilege to be able to turn a key in a door, enter into warmth and reach for a clean dry towel. For these wonders Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
Within the space, valued clients arrived. For sacred space, sacred work: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
I was kindly given some beautiful peonies. For a vase on the table which contains peonies: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
At the moment my sons are in Devon, visiting their Dad. For safe journeys and family, messages, laughter, and good health: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
Yesterday, I managed to throw a mug of coffee over my keyboard. This caused me to panic and feel that my world was unravelling. A replacement arrived today and I managed to get it to work. For small miracles: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
For the sum of my day, with its connections that I value more than gold. Heartfelt and deepest gratitude. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
