Gratitude List 28/9/23
Russell Square was extraordinarily busy. xhibition on Wednesday Night. She presented each painting with a poem. If You are interested in reading the poems, then you can find them www. artdobro.com. I saw them as describing the soul's journey on Earth. Right up my street. For Inspiration: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
The exhibition nourished my soul and made me feel enriched. There was something inherently generous about the whole event. Therefore, I carried it with me as I went about my business the following day. For purity and for realignment: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
I am still very keen on keeping up with steps and losing weight. This is good. I am also very keen on the offerings listed on the Ap 'Too Good to Go'. This keenness needs careful management, the 'offerings' are a 'surprise bag', of left over food at a very good price from the cafes and food shops in the local area. For the ability to resist temptation: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
For £3.30 I commission a surprise bag from Fabrique, an artisan bakery in Seven Sisters. I walk with Flo to collect it, I have to arrive between 8-9am. I am given a large bag. I have no idea whats in it. Flo and I then walk to Russell Square. For surprises and for resisting the temptation to look, Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
Russell Square was extraordinarily busy. I found an empty bench. Many of the benches in Russell Square are poignant, inscribed and dedicated to beloved people who have passed over. Today 'my' bench was honouring a 70th birthday. For Love, Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
I opened my 'surprise bag' .The investment of £3.30 gave me two almond croissants (breakfast) and two large loaves of good sourdough bread. For provisions: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
I am not sure if the walk to Russell Square and back, offset the calories of the surprise bag! For balance, Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
Apparently Too Good To Go has its own Reddit Forum. People place photo's of their surprise bags. The ethos is to save food waste. It appeals to me on many levels. Mainly, I think I like to go out hunting. For adventure: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
I am pleased to say that this day which contained two large loaves of bread, also contained some work! Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
For fun, for artisan bakeries. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
