Gratitude List 13/5/23 (retrospective)
I discovered a new secret route that took me along side Charing Cross Station and across the The Thames. For adventure: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
This was an early morning walk, for a 9am appointment. For the sight of a soft grey skyline, Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
I love how people move around London. I notice a beautiful efficiency and a rhythm. For The Bridges, double decker buses and the River Taxis (now Ubers). Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
My route took me past the Royal Festival Hall, and through the arches to Waterloo Road. In My head I heard the voice of my grandfather singing the old music hall song "Underneath The Arches, I dreamed my dreams away". As if it were yesterday. For memories: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
Nelson Mandela's statue bought Nelson Mandela's inspirational heroism to mind. Now there was a man with the tenacity to spend 29 years in prison to bring his dream of justice to reality. For the Power of dreams: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
I made my way to my appointment. Although I was late, I was still received. For grace:Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
For skilled treatment at The British School of Osteopathy:Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
I retraced my steps to home. Even although I may run out of time to post my gratitude list The Practice now automatically helps we to look more carefully and more deeply. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
For walking more than 10,000 steps. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
For the blessings of the day, and for the art of blessing the day: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
