I shared my lunch with the pigeons and one small brown headed sea gull, who made me wonder why.....

Gratitude List 16/3/23

  1. I awoke from a nightmare, prompted in part I think from the noir element of Oklahoma! For the feeling of relief when awaking from a bad dream and realising that life is not so. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.

  2. Due to the train strikes Josh was home. He walked with Flo to the post office where he allowed her to select a dogs toy. Apparently she refused to part with it and carried home full of pride. Once she arrived home she played with it with such gusto that it was more or less destroyed in 15 minutes. Such is life: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.

  3. Relieved of Flo duties I walked my usual loop alone. Without her it was a much more meditative experience, and nourishing in a different way, as I was not stopped by people asking about her. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.

  4. I found a mother's day present for my mother with relative ease. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.

  5. The photo is of the 'florist' on Jermyn St. I admire it very much. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.

  6. In St James Park, I shared my lunch with the pigeons and one small brown headed sea gull, who made me wonder why it was so far from home. The pigeons have pink tough looking claws for feet. The gull had soft pads made for walking on mud. Now it was standing on the pavement competing for scraps. For poignancy: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.

  7. A new fridge/freezer was supplied to our flat. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.

  8. For 15 minutes I also had a new toy. A fridge door which open to reveal everything arranged within in a pristine manner. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.

  9. In the evening there were revelations that released shadows. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.

  10. For the sum of the day and for walking 10,300 steps; Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
