Gratitude List 18/9/23
For waking up after a wonderously good nights sleep. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
The Riverford box arrived. It always bring me joy to unpack it and plan meals ahead. Golden Beetroot Soup is on the menu. For bounty: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
Riverford brings bread and milk to my door on behalf of Watkins. I like to take it in before the shop opens. Flo comes with me and flies down the stairs into the kitchen. There is a clattering of her paws on the wooden Floor. She is welcomed on these visits. For routine: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
After dropping the bread and the milk, I enquire of 'The Book". are there any appointments scheduled for today? For my work: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
Interesting people arrived at the Red Table today, and I was taken out to lunch. This gave me joy. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
To be able to give readings, the fact that I am given permission, to make an enquiry of the divine, on behalf of the client is an immeasurable privilege. I do not take it for granted. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
The Watkins staff manage 'The Book' (of readings). This is an art form. They are good at it and I am grateful for the support. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
Once upon a time I used to do desk work in between Readings. Now I am too busy with appointments, and I find it harder to multi task. Besides which I like to chat and exchange esoteric stories. For a sense of place. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
After work, I am too tired to cook. I walk through Leicester Square to a Chinese Restaurant on Wardour Street. £5.00 buys a take away supper. Flo, a celebrity there, is given food and made a fuss of. For kindness Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
We pass the Swiss House Clock on the way there and on the way back. Pavement artists are gathered underneath. I have known this clock since I was 16 years old. It is an embodiment of survival, of the passing of time. Indeed I am blessed. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
