Gratitude List 26/2/24
On Monday's, The day when I give readings in Watkins, I usually walk Flo on a circuit: Down Cecil Court, passing 'The Witch Ball' an Art Shop that sells beautiful Chagall Prints, popping into Watkins to see if I have any bookings and then over Charing Cross Road, through Leicester Square Gardens and back. I love this walk. For happiness: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
In Leicester Square Gardens a green carpet was being laid. For Flo I thought! At long last the turf that had been removed for the 'winter wonderland' is replaced. For magic green carpets: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
I extended the walk into Lisle Street because I had an 11.30 appointment and I wanted some street food for breakfast. Alas, the hatch in the wall that sells pancakes and Bao buns was closed. It was still a nourishing walk, with vibrancy, colour, trolleys and food heaped outside of shops that were waiting to open. For life: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
Dropping Flo I had a banana instead of the pancake and hurried into Watkins. For less calories: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
The day was busy with a constant stream of readings and theta healing. My work has changed. It feels that I can see more and be of greater service. It is lovely when I am thanked for the work and told that it's been useful. For a place at The Red Table:Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
Today because I was on the cusp of time and hurrying I managed to spill my coffee. That meant taking the Red Table Cloth home to wash. As I write it is drying on the rack. I love the connection and sense of place being able to take a tablecloth home to wash affords me. Indeed I am blessed. For the roof over my head. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
There was a time when I had space in between Readings to read or write. It's taken me more than 10 years to build my practice to be busy. I appreciate every commission. For clients: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
During January and February I dropped my gratitude practice. This was because things felt grey. I am glad that I have colour back again. For Joy: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
When work was finished I walked Flo around Covent Garden. I enjoy the constancy and holding that looking after her gives me. Her muzzle becomes a little more grey each day. She shuffles along slowly but I suspect that much of this is also for effect because secretly she is vacuuming and trying to sniff out snacks - which she is not allowed to do. For artfulness: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
For a woven day that contained beauty, friendship, kindnessness and insight: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
