Gratitude List 8/2/23
Here is the Selfridges Angel. She is very grand. Whilst trying to find out more about her I discover that Selfridges have a Planet Earth Project. For Angel juice: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
I am writing this list @5.11pm. It is still light out side - just. Slowly and almost imperceptibly Spring is on the way. It feels as if a burden is lifted. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
In Leicester Square Gardens a new lawn has been laid. For green: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
I saw the new film 'The Fabelman's'. Most tender and most sweet. I recommend it. For perfection. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
In Wardour Street I buy a carton of Chinese Food. Flo waits outside:(in)patiently. For this act of service she extracts from me a tax. She very much likes Chinese Food. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
I binge read 'Livid', (in one day) the new Patricia Cornwell Novel. On the back of this I promise (myself) that I will work for at least 8 hours tomorrow. Really I should approach this the other way around, e.g. work for a day and then read the book!!! For joyfulness: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
There has been a stillness and a peace in the day that I appreciate very much. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
On the window ledge the Amaryllis begins to open. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
Behind the Coli, I heard Opera Singers practicing. This feels like a stolen pleasure. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
For a day which wrapped itself around me and within which I felt nourished. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
