Gratitude List 21/4/23

1. This weekend London is host to both The London Marathon and EXRebellion. From the lounge window I could see that the Quakers were outside Friends House on St Martins Lane, holding a silent vigil to protest against climate change. The powerful charge of their silence and intent bought me to tears. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.

2. For balance: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.

3. For justice: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.

4. There is an electric energy in London today. For change: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.

5. In the morning, ahead of myself (and FND), I made carrot soup and chocolate cake: For the grace of shabbat, which can lend itself to two days: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.

6. For the prayers of Shabbat and the light that it brings: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.

7. Friends came to dinner. We do not live around the corner from their house. It was kind of them to travel far. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.

8. I love the warmth that arrives into a room when friends are present. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.

9. For laughter and for conversation which did not flag: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.

10. For sweetness, for weaving, for plans and for love. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
