Gratitude List 17/12/22
In the Lane this evening the sky was so pretty, against the lights, that it felt almost careless. As if a wand had been waved with a sigh. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
Out walking Flo this morning I wandered past the Coli. There was some serious broadcasting going on. Two huge lorries stretched along the street. One of these had x 3 doors one marked 'Audio', the other 'vision' and then 'Record replay'. They were recording a carol service for the ENO. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
Work arrived in my inbox this morning. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
A friend arrived to have coffee with me this morning. I like his company very much. He comes along every week or two. I think that he saw I had need of him as sometimes in London I have missed Totnes and been lonely. Besides which he is interesting. For friendship and constancy. Deepest Gratitude. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
Again, today I was able to work with clients by zoom. I am very lucky to be able to work with erudite and spiritually aware people. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
I spoke with Zachary today. He told me 'You always ring me at the most inconvenient moment!'. So Zachary. He will come back to London next week. I wish that he were here already. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
My cold seems to be going and my strength is returning. Thank Goodness! Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
I bought the Heinz mushroom soup of my childhood and then, remembering my grandmother had to fight back tears in Tesco. The older I become, the more that I feel that I am comprised of the love that has been bestowed upon me. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
This morning Covent Garden was very empty. Then suddenly it became exceedingly full. And still bitterly cold. I wonder. Will in snow again tonight? Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
Tomorrow is the first night of Chanukah. Now there is a story of abundance.Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
