Gratitude List 1/11/22
Just for one moment St Giles Churchyard, on the 1st of November, looked almost grand. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
It has to be mentioned that sometimes (well quite often) the air in St Giles is thick with smoke and the smell of weed. It feels almost anarchistic. The dog walkers take it in their stride. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
Most evenings in the summer at @8pm the man who feeds the pigeons arrives at St Giles. I have seen the pigeons line up waiting for him and perch on his head once he sits on his bench. This activity always reminds me of my childhood and Mary Poppins. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
A new client arrived at my table today. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
A friend came to London and we went to lunch at Dishoom. It was the first time I had been there. Most stylish and beautiful. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
Today, it was very starkly bought to my attention how privileged I am and have been. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
For courage and fortitude. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
For resolution. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
For trust. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
For the roof over my head. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
