Gratitude List 19/5/23

1. Yesterday, I walked home with the company of another film extra, who had fled Russia due to the war. We spoke of how it is to have to start over again. I remembered her story as I woke up to the calmness of my room. For Peace: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.

2. Very sweetly, a family friend came to the flat and restrung my necklace. For kindness: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.

3. I have had this necklace for many years. It started out with 9 pieces of turquoise. Now, as I am down to 7 pieces, we substituted them with smaller pieces of amber. For adaptation: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.

4. This necklace, has always felt a protection when working. For crystals: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.

5. After 'the glamour', of yesterday, it was good to be back to normal, back in control of my day, with the people and work that I love. For my life, Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.

6. For a walk to Victoria embankment with Flo, whom I missed yesterday. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.

7. For being able to clean and make preparation for Shabbat. Deepest gratitude: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.

8. Josh and Zach went hunting for kosher wine and Cholla. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.

9. For FND, the sacred ritual of lighting the candles, blessing the wine, blessing the bread and eating chicken. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
