Gratitude List 27/6/24
I noticed this sculpture by Billy Conolly, in the Castle Art Gallery at the top of New Row. 1/19 It costs £9,950 - should You wish to buy it. It's called 'On Monday God Created The World'. For Art: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
The sculpture interests me. I realise that it is rare to see God depicted. I think this vision, where God is part Biker, and part Angel is entirely reasonable. I like how the energy is held within. For Grace and for Vision: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
Once I settle down to think about it, I realise that my understanding of G-d is the constant everlasting light that flickers in a Shul (Synagogue). For the sacred: here on Earth: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
In London, when it is hot, the trees are especially valuable. In both Leicester Square and Russell Square they are planted in circles which within the hectic life of the City create bowers. For shade: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
Clients came to work with me today. I am honoured. For my work: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
I did some admin today. Ha! That in itself is a small miracle. For getting down to it! Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
In my head, I am writing the next Kindred Spirit Article. Especially when I am walking. This means that I look as if I am daydreaming at all times, and have a tendency to jump out of my skin if someone says hello. For getting down to it! Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
I mislaid my key, and then found it again. Now keys are up high in importance in one's infrastructure. Just like people that I love, whom I have taken for granted until they are lost. For keys, for love, for appreciation: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
As I write this, cheers and catcalls echo up St, Martins Lane. It is the same every night @ around 10.15. Tom Holland is exiting the Theatre. If he is not actually a God for some, without a doubt, he is a contemporary intergalactic Emperor. For exuberance, for joy: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
For the connections that were woven through my day and the love contained therein. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
