Gratitude List 14/12/22
Zach returned back home from NY today. Safe and sound with various stories and adventures that only he could have. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
Coming home from Tesco via New Row, today the bag split, and shopping spilled over the pavement. It made me feel oddly vulnerable, untidy and chaotic. I was rescued with a new bag from the hat shop. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
Literally two seconds after scraping myself up off the floor, at the bottom of New Row I met my friend Rachel. Rachel is a violinist with the English Ballet. She gave me a ticket for the working dress rehearsal of the Nutcracker @ The Coli. It was for 7pm this evening. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
Whilst I only had 30 mins to deposit my shopping and feed Flo, I decided to go along anyway. The contrast between the mishap of the shopping and then being given a ticket, a portal - into an entirely different world amused me greatly and cheered me up. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
The wonderful thing about working dress rehearsals is that You get to see how chaos and messiness can unfold, regather and become beautiful. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
The production was so beautiful. Especially King Rat. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
The Nutcracker handles the concept of The Shadow brilliantly. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
Listening to a live orchestra play nourished my soul. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
There are angels depicted in the Coli. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
For transformation. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
