Gratitude List 8/3/23
I passed this wall in Hampstead yesterday. The moss struck me as somewhat beautiful. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
In honour of both International Woman's Day and to mark ten years working in Watkins I baked a strawberry crisp and took it into Watkins, whilst it was still warm, as a gift. For sustained change, for celebration and the chance to stay still and build. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
There was joy, laughter and sadness in the day. For emotion: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
A few flakes of snow fell. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
I had my once a year blood tests, everything came back fine. This is good news. Indeed I am blessed. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
Zach sent me an essay to read and comment on. I like to read his work, he is a good wordsmith and makes a strong case in support of his views; Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
The rain made it impossible to sit on my usual bench in Lincolns Inn Fields. I was there and back quickly. The green parakeets were whooping through the trees. I enjoy the exuberence which they bring. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
Today, there was space for my own energy cleansing. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
In the dense city, I really appreciate small patches of flowers and plants. Anything that is growing actually. Close to Lincolns Inn fields are planters filled with Rosemary and Thyme, I pick some sprigs and put them in my pocket. I love the small of each of these herbs. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
I walked more than 10,000 steps. It's getting easier day, by day. Once I used to arive back exhausted. For strength regained. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
