Gratitude List 7/12/23 (Retrospective)

  1. Because It had been so very busy, I felt that Flo was deprived of her usual exercise over the last days and walked with her to Lincoln Inn's Fields. For exercise and for respite: Thank You Thank You, Thank You.

  2. The trip to Lincoln's Inn Fields slipped into the realm of magic. Sitting with Flo, I received a text that asked if I was at home, to accept some flowers? I went home and then entered into a process of flowers arriving by Uber. I met the Uber driver outside of the Noel Coward Theatre. For Glamour and for kindness, an unexpected gift. A huge Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.

  3. The flowers were a combined Chanukah present and a Thank You. Called Angelic, scented, containing white Roses and Freesia I was utterly beguiled and transported. For transportation into other realms: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.

  4. The process of this gift and attention to detail was so filled with attention and care that my breath was taken away. For perfection, love, kindness: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.

  5. On this day I also went to swim; for exercise; Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.

  6. I then caught a bus along the strand and hurried to catch the lightening of the first Chanukah candle in Trafager Square. The Menorah stood brave and resilient. The light was switched on at 4.33pm, just as dusk came. I only just made it. For light in the darkness: Thank You Thank you, thank You.

  7. The Christmas Tree from Norway stood along side the Chanukah, as a silent shadow, casting a beautiful silent sacred energy across the Square. Its moment was going to arrive at 6.30pm when its light were going to be switched on. There were already people waiting, and the press there to record the moment. For sacred traditions and for the divine: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.

  8. I came away from the Menorah, From The Christmas Tree, from the street surfaces shining in the rain, back to the Flowers. I did not want to work. I wanted to look at the flowers! Flo however now needed to go around the block. For coming back to earth. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.

  9. For the people in my life: Thank You Thank you, Thank You.

  10. For the fact that 'every dog has its day", and for having that day. Thank You Thank you, Thank You.
