Gratitude List 27/3/23.
Sometimes it is the case that a particular book touches my heart. Today I finished 'The Lost Cafe Schindler'. A truly beautiful memoir from Meriel Schindler. I adored it from beginning to end, even though it contains sadness that made me weep, it also contains cake recipes and is one of the most measured and hopeful books that I have ever read. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
From this book I also learned that people who collect matchboxes are called 'Phillumenists', - 'Lovers of Light'. I can think of a thousand metaphors to play with and I am sure that You can too! Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
It is Joshua's birthday. He is 32 years old. For a moment I saw him as a hologram of every year of his life interlaced and overlaid one over the other. I am impossibly proud of him. Happy Birthday Josh. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
Today I had a place at The Red Table in Watkins. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
Along came interesting people: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
In between Clients I did some admin work. This takes discipline, of course my preference is to chat and look at the new books. For focus: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
For a glass of red wine, provided by Josh as a celebration: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
I love the lighter evenings: For time: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
For engagement: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
For Love, for wondrousness. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
