Gratitude List 28/11/22
This is a photo of the bread that I baked on Shabbat. As You may notice it is not subdued. I love the exuberance of Shabbat, which begins with these three prayers of gratitude, for Shabbat, For wine, and for bread. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
Writing this I am exuberant. Working in Watkins today, three clients extended their sessions from 30mins to 1 hour. I am unable to express how deeply honoured I feel. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
Writing this I am tired. I was so busy giving readings that I did not see the sun go down, instead the day flashed by. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
Today it felt that work at the Watkins Red Table was both powerful and sacred. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
Today Josh returned safely from Devon. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
In the morning the day was clear and bright. Then at some point, I looked out and saw rain. I like the clarity that November brings, with illumination and starkness. Then the cosiness of the rain, which seems to wrap itself around me and give me peace. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
For the grace offered by a busy day. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
For the good news and reassurance that I was given today. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
For the noise, queues, and exuberant life outside on the street. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
For the ability to have restraint, for containment, and for love. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
